Amy Rao is the Founder & CEO of Integrated Archive Systems, a company she founded in 1994. Originally from Indiana, Amy moved to the Bay Area in 1985 and currently resides in Palo Alto with her husband. Their five children are spread across the globe either attending university or embarking on their careers. She has a long history of involvement in both local and national democratic politics and she actively advocates for stronger human rights and environmental policy. Amy’s greatest passion is for the defending and protecting of human rights both domestically and internationally and currently serves on the International board of Human Rights Watch and The Fund for Global Human Rights as well as on the V-Day board with Eve Ensler. Amy continues to work on better environmental awareness and action and serves as President of The 11th Hour Project. She also serves on the board of The Schmidt Family Foundation and is chair of the Human Rights Watch Voices for Justice events in San Francisco and the Silicon Valley. An advocate for a more harmonious, peaceful and sustainable world, Amy joined the advisory board for the Dalai Lama Fellows, based in The Presidio in San Francisco. A huge fan of Dr. Paul Farmer, Amy serves as a regional representative of Partners in Health.
Karin Napier joined IAS in March of 1995, bringing more than 24 years of experience in technology sales and development. She has been leading the sales team at IAS since its inception. Prior to IAS, Karin held sales roles at Taarcom, Honeywell, and Mobile Communications.
Anna Borden has more than 20 years experience in accounting and finance in both the public and private accounting sectors. Prior to joining IAS, Anna held positions as Vice-President of Finance/Corporate Secretary and Controller at Indus International in San Francisco and Vice-President of Finance at Reel.com.
Janice Slayton joined the IAS engineering team in 2003 and has held roles as Senior Technical Architect and Engagement Practice Manager. Janice currently oversees all IAS technical service delivery interactions with our customers, including project management and professional services. Prior to joining IAS, Janice held various roles in engineering at Sun Microsystems, where she helped support large enterprise companies and provided technical account management, sales support, and solution architectures for complex client IT environments. In addition, she spent several years implementing Sun technology and Tandem mainframe (now HP) publishing software in customer datacenters across the US and Europe. Janice brings over 10 years of both technical and customer-facing experience to IAS, which provide her with a unique perspective when working with companies facing dynamic business challenges.
John Woodall has more than 21 years of experience in the information technology industry. He joined IAS in 2002 as Sr. Infrastructure Architect bringing an extensive background in enterprise architecture, infrastructure, system design and large scale, complex systems implementation. He was promoted to Director, Advanced Technology with a focus on strategic direction, including emerging technologies, trends and practices. Recently John was promoted to Vice President of Engineering, responsible for pre-sales technical architecture and professional services. Prior to joining IAS, John held architecture and management roles at Symantec, Solectron (now Flextronics), Madge Networks and Elsevier MDL.
Jennifer Childs joined IAS in 1998 and has served in various capacities including Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. Prior to IAS, Jennifer served as a manager at 4th Communications Network. As Director of Marketing for IAS, Jennifer is responsible for crafting and delivering our marketing plan, managing our marketing budget, collaborating with partners on marketing initiatives, organizing and orchestrating events and internal annual sales kick off, and managing all marketing efforts such as seminars and webinars. Jennifer also manages our marketing business development team. She graduated from USC in 1991 with a degree in Communications and attained a Professional Marketing Certification from San Jose State University.
